Peas

In my opinion, Peas are the most exciting crop of the early season as they mark the first interesting crop of the year.

Spacing & Yield
On 30” beds, 1 row of Peas can be grown; expect yields of ¼# per bed foot per harvest, with harvests occurring every 4 days for about 4 weeks

On 4’ beds, 2 rows of Peas can be grown; expect yields of ½# per bed foot per harvest, with harvests occurring every 4 days for about 4 weeks

Trellising
Peas require a pea fence to grow on.

“An earlier, somewhat shorter-vined version of sugar snap. Early yields are heavier than sugar snap, but the harvest period is shorter.”
